§ 15.10.030 – Modifications to International Residential Code:
The International Residential Code (adopted and incorporated in the Maryland Building Performance Standards, COMAR, Sections 05.02.07 et seq.), is modified for one- and two-family dwellings, as follows:
An automatic sprinkler system designed in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association's Standard 13D, as may be amended from time to time and which is incorporated by reference in the State Fire Prevention Code (COMAR 29.06.01), shall be installed in all one (1) and two (2) family dwellings after receipt of a zoning certificate and prior to the issuance of a use and occupancy permit.
